I worked as a trained teacher in governmental schools. I’m the founder of the “Subodhi” women’s Development organization in 1964, Uthurubatagama “Subodhi” Kanthakarya organization in 1994  and Uthurubatagam senior citizen society in 2006.
I’m working with “Lakbime mawuwary saha diyaniyo” organization, “yudha virodhi peramuna” organization and National Christian campaign. Also, I’ve worked with “Janawabodhaya” circle- Negambo, Community education center Malabe, PAFEREL Colombo, “Sarvodaya” Yakkala, and “Janodaya” -Ja Ela.
